I fogot about filters, man I really used to vent about people I knew on LJ, I might need to go through and check some of those filters just in case.

I mean, that's part of why I lost all my high school friends. I mean, there was the whole lying bipolar exroomate part too, but my post was part of it.

OK so in other news I have a new artist on my watch list over at Deviant Art. A Turkish Photographer named Mehmet Turgut (cool name eh?). He's done a lot of photo shoots for music magazines but it was this nude that makes me mention him;

You see, his name is Alex. I am currently playing an androgynous scion of Artemis named Alexis in Will's game. Up until now I have been using pictures of Tilda Swinton as Gabriel for character portraits and while they are still what I based the character on this image was too close to not mention.

Also, while I was looking up Tilda Swinton pictures for reference I noticed that she had Played Orlando! Yes THE Orlando, the immortal hermaphrodite that Alan Moore mentioned in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Black Dossier. Up until that graphic novel I had never even heard of this character and low and behold there's a movie about him featuring and actress I really like. Isn't that cool?

Also, it was me checking IMDB for info on Orlando that led me to the movie trailer! See how it all wraps up in a bow?

Just to add something different, here's the hacked together character portrait for the super hero game I will probably be joining soon.



I think I will probably touch up that hands to add definition.

Always trying to be the first to finish his character, I am working on the Ruby Robot's backstory right now and I want to make sure that Ryan keeps it a surprise. I've got some changes that I don't want him mentioning to the other players until I've finished the background for them to read.

My Friday has kind of Failed until now. Here's hoping it improves.

I ran it twice because the first one had a bunch of communities.

I did some work, talked to 1 of my worst callers from Friday, played some Mass Effect, and now Paul's coming over with a slurpee. Not too bad.

Oh, I don't get to see my Vallie until super late tonight and now I get to eat like a bachelor until we do some real shopping. This is what my cup noodle rations are for though! Ha ha!
I'll work my way up to mac'n'Cheese and then actual cooking on the foreman grill eventually, but I comfort myself knowing that eating like a college freshman will help us save money for the convention.

COR! My feet are tired!

Today was great. There was tons of cosplay silliness, lots of snacks, just enough sun and shade and wind, and lots of fliers given out to the mundanes. So all around win.

I'll be uploading some of my videos soon, and then I will see you all at the convention because I have a feeling that I might end up in the hospital soon afterwards. Either Vallie will smash me or I'll get ninja'd by one of the people I smack talk on camera.
